NRA BASIC RIFLE COURSE

The Basic Rifle Course teaches the student the safe handling and use of a rifle including, rifle parts and operations, shooting fundamentals, shooting positions, sighting -in and sight alignment.

All students under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent.

Course is normally completed in one day, but weather some times will delay finishing the class and we will then complete it the following day.

.22 rifle is used for the class, if the student has a rifle it would be best to have them use their own gun. If not we have rifles for them to use.

Course fee is $100.00 and we supply the ammunition and provide eye and ear protection for the student and guardian.

Bring a sack lunch, cold water will be available all day. Also sun screen is advised. Long pants and a baseball type hat are mandatory on the range.

Class starts at 9 am.
