Designed specifically for varminters and target shooters using the Hornady .17HMR or .17HM2 round, our all-stainless suppressor isn’t any .22lr suppressor dumbed-down for use with this hot round. It is purpose-built to live up to heavy use in the longest varmint hunts. The Gemtech HMR suppressor is a very discreet, low-profile thread-mounting unit that provides OSHA-safe hearing protection in a package only 7/8” in diameter and only 5 inches long. The HMR suppressor attaches to most common .17HMR barrels by standard 1/2-28 threads. Gemtech can thread your barrel for a nominal charge, or a local machinist may follow our instructions and thread it locally. This suppressor is designed specifically for the .17HMR and .17HM2. It is not suitable for use with .22 rimfire or for .17 center-fire cartridges.
